August Plus Box is Exceptional

August 2022 brought very hot temperatures and a very hot ArtSnacks Plus box! All of the supplies in this box are of very fine quality. I love the ruler -- it is small, practical and sturdy with a pleasing design. This is my first experience with Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer Magnus Watercolor pencils and they are a joy to use producing rich and smooth colors both dry and wet. One can never have enough fine liners and pencils especially when they come from Micron, Copic and Alvin. The Copic multiliners, broad set, filled a gap in my collection that I didn't know existed. Last but not least, the Grumbacher Hidden Wire Mixed Media Sketchbook with in and out pages is now in my work bag for daily use during my commute. The 8.5”x5.5” form factor is perfect for me. All in all, these supplies will be well used and well loved. Looking forward to the August 2022 ArtSnacks Freestyle video.

This truly is my favorite sketch/creative book!
This book lays flat! The paper is a dream to work on! Having a book with paper you do not have to worry about bleed through is such a gift for anyone but especially for Mixed Media Artists! I already want another book!

Love the extra-smooth paper, and the ink really does not bleed through. Lays flat? Not so much. But the paper is magnificent!

This is one of my favorite products I've gotten from an artsnacks box! I love incorporating this marker into so many pieces. Great for so many things! One of the best pouches I have and beautiful paint markers

I had my eye on this Itoya pouch since I saw a tutorial done by an Artsnack affiliate and they utilized it. She was not wrong! This bag is very sturdy and can fit a lot into it. The sectioned off areas make it easier to organize and access your colors. It came with the Plumchester pin attached to it and I loved that idea of adding additional pins. The markers themselves flow nicely. No wasting unnecessary time to get the paint to flow to the nib. It responded quickly I'd say about the second or third press down. The colors are all very close to their true description. I needed to get all of them in this bundle and I am not disappointed!

Vibrant + Smooth

It's hard to go wrong with Dr Ph Martin's - I typically love their inks. They make so many good colors and are always so concentrated in color that they're easily mixable and last a very long time. These watercolors are no exception! They're vivid, versatile and lovely. Highly recommend.

Best Plastic Mechanical Pencil

The Alvin Draf/Tec mechanical pencil in the August 2022 ArtSnacks Plus box is the best plastic mechanical pencil ever. It feels more substantial than most plastic mechanical pencils and is very comfortable in the hand. My 0.3 mm creates sharp, crisp lines and will also create a pleasing smudge effect with a little bit of water. I'll be putting the 0.5 mm 0.7 mm versions on my wish list!
