April 2022 ArtSnacks Plus Box

I’m a sucker for fine liners and I was excited to try the uni pens for the first time. They did not disappoint! They’re reliable with a durable tip and the perfect silhouette for fitting in my hand. And if you haven’t tried acrylic gouache, go buy some now! It’s opaque, it’s buttery smooth, and it’s just a delight to work with - especially with the Princeton filbert!

Brush and paints are awesome. The board that came with it is a different type of surface for me and I really enjoyed using it. I would definitely recommend that water media artists try out the art boards and OMG I am officially obsessed with Holbein gouache. The only thing I would change is that the pens are a great value, I just have...SO MANY now with my other art snacks plus boxes. I would have traded the pens for one more tube of paint and maybe one more brush? Either way, it was entirely enjoyable!

This was my very FIRST box from ArtSnacks. Everything was high quality and it gave me a chance to try things that I wouldn't have had a chance to use otherwise. I am loving this subscription and don't plan on cancelling anytime soon. I can't wait for May's box!!
