Copic Gasenfude Brush Pen

by Copic
$ 7.49

The Copic Gasenfude Brush Pen was created with sumi-e (East Asian brush painting) artists in mind. Its long, flexible brush tip creates expressive line variations for calligraphy or illustration. Filled with water-based pigment ink, this pen is water-resistant and Copic-proof (it will not bleed when used with Copic markers) when dry.

After watching and hearing ArtSnacks ambassadors use and talk about this pen I decided to try it and I love it!

AWESOME

LOVE the real bristles! It came in the Inktober box and I loved it so much that I had to get a second one. I just wish it was refillable.

The Best Brush Pen

It was great! Very smooth lines and various strokes so I could give more life to my art.

I love this pen

I have never used a brush pen before, so I was really insecure about it, but after a few stroke I fell in love. It feels really nice to use this pen, the inkflow is steady. I just had to buy another one :)

Nice Calligraphic Effects!

The Copic Gasenfude has a marker tip, rather than an actual brush, with greater flexibility than the Zig Fudebiyori. I was hesitant about the Copic due to my negative experience with the Zig, but I was pleasantly surprised. Drawing felt smooth with very little scratching. I was very pleased with the quality and richness of the black ink. Producing interesting calligraphic effects reminiscent of 18th Century script won me over to the Gasenfude. I would definitely buy it again!
