Limited Edition Kuretake-ZIG Bimoji Fude Pen

$ 9.00

Imported all the way from Japan, this limited edition Kuretake-ZIG Bimoji Fude Pen was designed to imitate the aesthetic and weight of a traditional calligraphy brush. It's no coincidence "bimoji" means "beautiful letters" in Japanese — with a comfortable rubber grip and durable felt tip, this brush pen was made for lettering. Keep in mind the water-based, pigment ink is water resistant once dry, but not completely waterproof. This unique pen comes in a variety of fun washi paper patterns.

All pens have black ink.

Outstanding!

I love a brush tipped pen but I like this because it is just a bit more
firm. That allows for more expression in my work. I love it.

Not actually a brush

The ink release and quality is great but the washi tape is a little sticky, and despite being called a brush pen, it's not actually a brush. The tip is actually a Very firm marker type nib, and doesn't lend to the flexible brush work that I wanted to use this pen for, as I was expecting an actual brush tip. This pen is better suited for line work and such.
