Handmade in the mountains of Nepal by a certified fair trade workshop, these beautiful paper pouches are constructed from eco-friendly, strong Lokta paper and feature a zipper closure. Lokta is one of the strongest paper fibers in the world, made from the inner bark of the Lokta bush. New growth regenerates quickly, so it provides a renewable resource for the artisans.

    I’m happy I decided to give it a try…

    So far this great little Lokta paper pouch has exceeded my expectations…I carry 6 calligraphy markers (a mix of Kuretake, Tombow and Zebra) in my geometric dark gray stars patterned pouch and there’s a bit more room for 2 more markers if I need to add any others…this light-weight pouch is very strong and made well…after handling it for these few weeks I think it will last at least as long as some of the more costly pouches in my collection. I’m very happy with my decision to give it a try.
