Big things can come in small packages! A favorite of illustrators since the 1890s, Winsor & Newton Drawing Ink features brilliant, dye-based color that’s great for precise line work or looser application. You can easily layer your new pens on top since the ink is fast-drying and water-resistant when dry.

Amazing

I’ve never really used ink before. I dabbled in calligraphy with some speedball ink a few years back. This stuff is amazing! I’ve been using it a lot in my inktober52 sketches. I need every color. The green is possibly my favorite. It reminds me of Halloween

Red Ink

I found the ink to be just what it says it is, I would hesitate to use it before watercolors, as it is not waterproof! I used it after and it works fine for adding detailing over washes and when not wanting a Black outline but accenting my red watercolor it works quite nicely.

Not compatible with watercolors

I have both the brick red and violet inks. They are very smooth and great to use with a dip pen but when I went to use watercolors with them, they started smearing. The description says that they were water resistant when dry but I would let them dry for a few hours and they'd still smear with water.
I don't know if I did anything wrong but if there's anything I can do then please tell me.
