Not for everyone…

I wanted to love these, after so many glowing reviews I thought I would. But nah! They NEVER dry, like ever. I tested a swatch I made a year later and it still came off on my finger! Maybe it’s me but I don’t think they are as pigmented as everyone claims either, maybe it’s the binder, but you can rub/blend these out till there is nothing but a whisper of color without much effort. Using water on them makes them disappear. So yeah… swing and a miss for persnickety peeps like me.

Interesting and fun to learn with

Wasn't quite sure what to do with them when I first got them, but wanted to try something new. The fact that these glide on the paper so smoothly, looking at first like a crayon or soft pastel like texture. But then can smoothed out super easily with a blending stick, or a finger tip (like I did), along with being able to blend with other colors and mediums. Very neat and cool product to just have fun experimenting with. Love it.

The texture !!!

I got this and don't really know exactly how to use them well yet , but they glide so nice that I could literally scribble all day on a canvas and ve happy just with the tactile sensation itself , but for real it's very opaque and blends so easily.

Must. Have. More.

I got one in a recent box, and now I must have more! Creamy, versatile and vivid colors. Unlike anything I've worked with.

Fun

These are fun pastels and they are quite fun since they are water soluble. This allows for fun techniques and blending.
