I received the spring green pen in one of my ArtSnacks plus boxes and decided to order a few more colors. I really like the performance and having 2 tints in the same pen. The coverage is even without lines and layering the same color gives a slightly darker shade. You must be careful with blending as some colors don’t blend well and adding too many layers will tear your surface.
I bought the double ended brushables. I just love one end is slightly darker of the same color. Makes for great shading. Love Art Snacks
Enjoying these pens for their lighter and darker take on a single color. Pure Pink is expressing my current obsession with pink nicely.
I love these and the dual colors make blending and shading easy!
I got this in the Sept 2022 box and it was the one I wanted most, Root Beer Float! It's a bit redder in tone than the swatch but I prefer it that way! Lovely colors in a juicy marker. :D
Far right in the image... the Apricot is an ancient marker that's a lot drier with age but still going; I forgot I had it and haven't used it much. It's also warmer than the swatch here but it might be different dye formula, age, and such. It's not dual-toned; I tried doing a gradient by layering on top of itself. I didn't even think to do that for the Root Beer Float unfortunately which is a giant oversight on my part haha sorry! ^_^; (Ignore the dry Artwin... I have a bunch of Le Plume's from that time too and they're still juicier than it was, I just grabbed the first brown I found.)
