I first got an art snacks subscription a few years ago, i did it just as a little thing to try to strech my wings away from just pencils. Now, nearly 2 or so years later after trying sennelier inks, they're my main medium. These work well diluted with water, alcohol, and the droppers are awesome to help mix colors and do different techniques (dropping, slashing and some cool things with layering). It is great for pen or paintbrush (what i mostly use). I have about 14 dofferent colors from sennelier that i got from dickblick from my absolute favorite color chinese blue, to black, brilliant yellow and deep magenta. I highly recomend for first timers and new artists and old. My only complaints are that they don't make larger sized bottles AND the dropper can get gunked up easily, mostly with darker colors, black, blues, pruples; it can be cleaned easily with a toothpick or an exacto knife (just be careful because the blade can break the glass fairly easily).
